Hi, I’m Kevin from DirectMed Imaging, and today we’re going to talk about using your test certificate for your image intensifier on Siemens fluoroscopy systems.

Using the Test Certificate

When replacing a power supply or the entire image intensifier (II) on your Siemens fluoroscopy system, the first thing you need to do is access your system manual and retrieve your test certificate. The test certificate provides the calibrated values specific to that II by serial number.

Calibration Process

• Retrieve the Test Certificate
• Locate the test certificate in your system manual.
• Ensure it corresponds to the serial number you are working with.

• Replace the Component
• Proceed with replacing the power supply or the entire image intensifier as needed.

• Calibrate the Power Supply
• Use the calibrated values from the test certificate to adjust the power supply.
• Input these exact values to ensure the system operates correctly.

Importance of Proper Calibration

Without calibrating the power supply to the specified values, you may encounter significant image quality issues, such as blurriness. Proper calibration ensures that your fluoroscopy system delivers clear and accurate images, maintaining the high standards required for medical imaging.
