In this tip Joe covers the Systems Phantom Check on your MRI systems, what to look for and what not to do when time to replace. An important step when performing PM on your MRI systems.
Today, we’re discussing system phantoms—specifically, the solution inside them. If you notice that the air bubble inside your system phantom is growing, it likely means you’re losing solution and need to replace the entire phantom.
It’s important not to add tap water to the phantom, as this can lead to image quality problems when the phantom is used for calibration or testing.
