Anytime you’re performing maintenance, such as checking brush wear or cleaning your slip ring—a fine-grit sanding block is an invaluable tool. It effectively removes carbon, dirt, and dust, while also smoothing out any small burrs on the slip ring. Addressing those burrs helps extend the life of your brushes, preventing premature wear.
