Toshiba Aquilion One – General Information

The Toshiba Aquilion One is a CT scanner that comes with a new technology that enables faster and more detailed diagnosis. Toshiba created this CT scanner to improve patient care with new clinical examinations. Its volumetric acquisition allows reduction of contrast medium dose and exposure dose while maintaining high image quality. One examination, One scanner, One solution. This system allows very fast and flexible scanning of a broad selection of body parts. In other words, you can capture an isotropic volume of an entire organ with one rotation of the gantry. As an example, in a single examination, whole brain perfusion, as well as whole brain vascular analysis, is provided in 60 seconds, and advanced analysis software permits an easy study view. Furthermore, it gives a completely functional and morphological assessment in about 10 minutes. Moreover, a dynamic evaluation using dynamic scanning enables healthcare professionals to examine joint motion and peripheral structures as 4D data from any viewpoint.
