Accessing and Saving CT Tube History File

In this video, Joe covers how you access and save the CT tube history file in Siemens syngo when doing service work on your Siemens CT system.

Hi, this is Joe with DirectMed Imaging, bringing you another tech tip!

Today, we’ll walk through how to access and save your CT tube history on a Siemens CT scanner.


1. Entering Local Service Mode

  1. Go to Options then Service.
  2. Select Local Service, then enter your service key.

Once the service software launches, you’ll see additional tools for viewing and saving your tube history.


2. Viewing Tube History

  1. Click on Reports.
  2. From the left-hand menu, choose All Histories.
  3. Locate the current tube information:
    • Scan Seconds (e.g., 433,828).
    • Install-Replace Date (e.g., 11-18-2020).

3. Saving the Tube History

  1. Under File Type, select ZIP.
  2. Click Extract to save the history file to the C: drive.
  3. Navigate to your C: drive to confirm the file is stored.

You can now copy or move this ZIP file to a safe location for your records or troubleshooting needs.
