How to Reset the Computer Quickly and Efficiently on Siemens systems
In this tech tip, Yuriy will show you how to reset your computer when it is frozen. Sometimes, shutting down will not work and the problem persists, however, by using this tip, you can restart and clear the issue quickly.
Today’s tech tip covers how to reset a computer when it becomes unresponsive. Sometimes the mouse and keyboard stop working, and shutting down the system only leads to hibernation, which won’t resolve the issue.
- Locate the Reset Button
- You’ll need something thin (but not sharp) to reach into the reset button’s access hole.
2. Press the Reset Button
- Insert the tool and press the hidden button. This forces the computer to reboot fully rather than just hibernate.
3. Power On the System
- After pressing reset, wait for the system to power back on. It should return to normal functionality.
